Our Team of Professionals

Fabiola Marquez Hamer - Business Manager

Fabi Hamer graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition in 1997. Like her husband, Dr. Brown Hamer III, she also continued her education at Parker University (formerly Parker College of Chiropractic) and graduated in January of 2003.

I discovered the benefits of chiropractic care after months of nagging, stabbing pain in my chest and upper back that several medical doctors couldn’t find the cause to and prescribed pain medications and even antibiotics. Then my neighbor, a student/intern at Parker College of Chiropractic adjusted my spine and found the cause of my pain was coming from a subluxated rib. From that point on, the pain was gone, and about a year after that, I was attending Parker College.

While at Parker, I discovered that I have a broken vertebrae in my lower back. I believe I am a true testament to the healing power of chiropractic care. I was told I would need surgery, and that by the looks of my MRI, I shouldn't be walking! Thankfully, I can not only walk, but I can run and jump and dance too, all because my chiropractor (my husband) keeps me healthy with muscular therapies and spinal adjustments. Sadly, I am not able to work on patients anymore because of my injuries, so I run the business side of our practice.

Dr. Brown M. Hamer III - Chiropractor

Dr. Hamer graduated from Louisiana State University in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University, graduating in January of 2003.

My interest in chiropractic began at an early age, as my father was a chiropractor for 25 years. In fact, I had my first adjustment when I was 2 days old. I am fortunate to have a rich family history in chiropractic as my wife, brother, Uncle, sister-in-law, and Godfather all were/are chiropractors.

I use my lifelong experience to help my patients understand their health. I strive to make the treatment individualized to each patient. I pride myself on getting patients well and out of pain as soon as possible and keeping them that way.

Wendy Villanueva - Front Office Assistant Manager

I have been working with chiropractors for several years, and started working with Atlas Chiropractic in August 2016. My main responsibility being the front office assistant manager is to make sure your visit with us is a pleasant and positive experience. I can answer any questions you may have and help you with scheduling needs. In my free time, my daughter Kaylee and I enjoy watching movies, shopping and going to the park. I have learned so much from Dr. Hamer as well as the rest of the team…. like how I shouldn’t sit on one foot and that veggies aren’t all bad. I am so grateful to be part of the Atlas team!

Angela Lopez - Licensed Massage Therapist and CA

I came to Atlas Chiropractic a year after I received my massage therapist license. I have been able to grow as a therapist and learn so much from Dr. Hamer. I love what I do and get much joy knowing that I help a patient out of pain, and happy that I help maintain their wellness.

Angela has been a CMT since 2011. Besides the pleasure she gets from helping patients, she loves spending time with her children and family. She enjoys yoga and being at the baseball field cheering her boys on. She looks forward to helping you on your journey to wellness.

Marie Macaraeg - Licensed Massage Therapist and Back Office Assistant Manager

Working for Atlas since 2013 has given me the opportunity to practice my knowledge, skills, and experience in one clinic. My passion for caring stemmed from helping my grandmother through her struggle with Parkinson’s Disease. During her 15-year diagnosis, I observed the human body even more.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, and my certification in massage therapy in 2013. I worked as a Physical Therapist technician for 3 years prior to graduating. I also became a personal trainer which allows me to walk with patients from pain, to awareness, and then to strengthening for preventative measures. I knew that there were natural ways to help, heal and prevent pain. I wanted to practice my skills in a Chiropractic clinic to be able to care for the body as a whole. There is no separation of an injury site where it doesn’t have an effect on the rest of the body. Atlas is a chiropractic office that cares for internal and physical health.

As the back office manager, I'm in charge of coordination of patient care, providing treatment and working beside the doctor. I will walk with you through your physical exam and evaluation, treatment of pain, strengthening, maintenance and prevention. Our body is our shell in life, you only get one.
