WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST VISIT
History
During your first visit we will take a history to learn about your current health status and major health concerns.
Consultation and Examination
Dr. Floro will discuss your health -related problems and take the time to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. To help pinpoint the underlying cause of your condition she will perform a complete examination testing your reflexes, range of motion and other standard orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic tests.
If there is a nutritional component to your health condition she will also test acupuncture nutrition points and common allergens using Applied Kinesiology Muscle Testing.
X-ray studies
During your examination Dr. Floro will inform you if X-rays or other imaging is needed to further assess your condition.
Treatment and Report of Findings
Chiropractic treatment will be done on the first visit for emergency patients or upon request. Otherwise treatment is typically done on the second visit after a detailed Report of Findings and discussion of your available treatment options.
Treatments consist of spinal and extremity adjustments, trigger point soft tissue massage, and may also include various rehabilitative therapies. Dr. Floro has a broad range of chiropractic techniques she utilizes and will work with you on using the methods that suit you best while giving you the fastest results.
