You will need to set aside about an hour for your first visit. Following visits shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes unless additional therapies other than the adjustment is recommended. You will be asked to fill out patient health history forms which takes about 15 minutes. Then your doctor will perform a complete neurological and orthopedic exam to isolate the area of involvement and to evaluate the level of care that you will need. Then a treatment plan will be developed specifically for your needs. Exam findings will be explained as well as the treatment that you will receive. Finally, you will be able to start your treatment that day if no other imaging or labs are recommended. We use a wide variety of chiropractic techniques that range from very light to more forceful. Then the doctor will decide from the exam what chiropractic techniques would benefit the patient the most and designs this personal plan to meet your needs.
