If you’re in a hurry and can’t talk, you can fill out the form and request an appointment online! If you’re out and about, stop by and we’ll do our best to get you scheduled for an appointment; no guarantees though!
Your First Visit
Coming in for your first visit? Make sure to have an I.D. and the New Patient Paperwork ready in hand! If you don’t already have the New Patient paperwork with you, you find it on our website under the section For Patients (Online Forms). If you already have the New Patient paperwork because you were referred to our office at an event, make sure to bring the forms filled out and your special gift with you as well!
Consultations will last anywhere from twenty to thirty-five minutes; give or take a few minutes. The consultation will consist of meeting with one of our doctors, touring our facility and what we provide to our patients’, going over any key issues or chief complaints, examining treatment options, and more!
Insurance/Payment options
Integrative Healthcare Solutions is in network with almost ALL major insurance networks! Whether you’re covered under a work policy, private policy, family plan, etc. we’ll get you taken care of! But don’t fret, if you don’t have an insurance policy, we do self-pay as well! What type of education and training do chiropractors have?
Doctors of chiropractic care are educated as primary-contact health care providers, with an emphasis on diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to the musculoskeletal system, and the nerves that supply them. Educational requirements for doctors of chiropractic are amongst the most stringent of any of the health care professions. The typical applicant for chiropractic college has already acquired nearly four years of pre-medical undergraduate college education, including courses in biology, inorganic and organic chemistry, physics, psychology, and related lab work. Once accepted into an accredited chiropractic college, the requirements become even more demanding — four to five academic years of professional study are the standard. Doctors of chiropractic are educated in orthopedics, neurology, physiology, human anatomy, clinical diagnosis including laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging, exercise, nutrition rehabilitation and more.

How long do visits last?
Chiropractic visits can last anywhere between 30min-90min depending on the severity of the patient and the patients’ treatment plan.
Do I need a referral from an M.D.?
Because there are so many coverage options, it’s best to check with your employer’s human resources department, or contact your health plan directly to find out if there are referral requirements. Some insurance companies do not require you to have a referral to a DC’s office, but others’ may.

How many times do I need to come in to see the Chiropractor?
The amount of times you want to come into our office is solely up to you! Our DC’s will always give you their medical opinion as to how many times they’d like to treat you, but ultimately the decision is all yours! In some cases, our doctors’ may recommend coming into our office as little as once a month up to a few times a week.
What do I need to bring with me to my appointment?
Make sure to pack your insurance card (or know your policy number and plan), and a form of payment! If this is your first appointment, make sure to bring in your New Patient Paperwork with you as well.
Can I come in whenever I feel like it and not stick to a regular schedule?
The doctor will recommend a treatment plan for you which will best benefit your health. For you to obtain the best results from chiropractic care, it is important that you stick to the schedule the doctor recommends.
What does your office provide?
Integrative Healthcare Solutions specializes in Chiropractic Care. We provide a number of services including, but not limited to, Chiro. Care, Physical Therapies (Exercises, etc.), Massage Therapy, Traction, EMS, Ultrasound, and More!
Why is there a lot of variety in techniques used in chiropractic care?
Chiropractors use many different techniques to treat specific areas of the body. As with medicine, each technique provides the patient with various, specific benefits-- depending on the patient, some may be more appropriate than others. The doctors will choose techniques that are most effective and comfortable for each individual patient.
Will I “Snap, Crackle, and Pop”?
Adjustment (or manipulation) of a joint may result in the release of a gas bubble between the joints, which makes a popping sound. The same thing occurs when you “crack” your knuckles. The noise is caused by the change of pressure within the joint, which results in gas bubbles being released. There is usually minimal, if any, discomfort involved. So yes, many patient’s will “snap, crackle, and pop”!
When can I expect to feel better?
Different patients have different healing times. Some experience relief within 1-2 weeks; other notice changes before the end of the first month. Healing is dependent on the length of time a patient has had the subluxations and the severity of their problem.
Does the doctor get adjusted?
