In November 2003, my best friend brought me to see them during a Patient Appreciation Day. Before then, I had never considered seeing a chiropractor.
Seven months earlier, I had fallen in my house, and was still suffering from an injury that limited the mobility in tow of my fingers. About six weeks after Dr. Rob started treating me, I suddenly discovered that I was able to make a tight fist with that hand for the first time since my accident. Until then, I had never understood the benefits that chiropractic medicine has on the entire body. However, I am now enjoying increased energy, a newfound desire to quit smoking (with which Dr. Rob is incredibly helpful and supportive), and I am generally a much happier person.
In March 2004, I was helping a friend renovate her house, and two days later woke up with excruciating shoulder pain. The treatment that I got from Dr. Rob and his office was far superior to what I would have expected from any "M.D." When I called to ask for an appointment, Kathy invited me to come in the next day. The day after my second treatment, the pain was virtually gone. I now believe that my original accident was a blessing in disguise, because had it not happened, I might never have gone to Coombs Chiropractic. I feel very sympathetic toward Dr. Rob's former patients in Philadelphia who lost him when he opened his new practice, and hope that he will call Ocean County home for many years.
Both Dr. Rob and Kathy are friendly, warm, and caring people, and you can express any feelings or concerns to them, regardless of whether or not you think it's relevant to your treatment. I should also point out that Coombs Chiropractic is EASILY the most efficient doctor's office I've ever visited. They are extremely flexible when it comes to scheduling appointments, and rarely keep anyone waiting.
I would strongly recommend that anyone reading this note make an appointment with Coombs Chiropractic today. Dr. Rob is a rising star in his field, and I predict that his office will soon have al the patients it can handle.
I give Coombs Chiropractic an A+, but only because there's no such things as an A++.
