When Is Trigger Point Injection Used?

TPI is used to treat affected muscle groups.   TPI are successfully used to treat fibromyalgia and headaches and severe muscle spasms, piriformis syndrome. The technique is also used to alleviate myofascial pain syndrome (chronic pain involving tissue that surrounds muscle) that does not respond to other treatments.

In joint injections are used to  reduce pain, limited range of motion in conditions such as: bursitis, trigger fingers, tennis elbow, osteoarthritis, joint pain, and among other.

  • In conjunction with Chiropractic, massage, Matrix, these injections can greatly reduce pain, increase range or motion, and postpone surgical intervention.
