Meet the Doctors

Dr. James Hovey has enjoyed a highly successful and rewarding practice in Roswell, Georgia since 1983, including the past 20 years at the clinic that bears his name.  Hovey Chiropractic Clinic is a family practice, serving everyone from infants to senior citizens, as well as working with accidents and sports injuries. Since 1994, Dr. Hovey has served as a valuable member of the Atlanta Falcons medical staff - official Team Chiropractor for the Atlanta Falcons - caring for players and coaches during pre-game and training practices.

Dr. Hovey played professional football with the Hamilton Tiger Cats in Ontario, Canada and the New York Giants in the mid 1970's.  In 2009, Dr. Hovey was inducted into his High School's Hall of Fame.  He is a 1974 graduate of the University of Kentucky and a 1982 graduate of Life Chiropractic College where he was a founding member of the Life Rugby Football Club.  Dr. Hovey and his wife Cindy have two sons, Dane and Drew.

Dr. Richard McCann has been in practice at Hovey Chiropractic Clinic since 1995. He is also a graduate of Life University School of Chiropractic and holds a B.S. in Biology/Pre-Med from Bloomburg University. Dr. McCann specializes in family care with an emphasis on caring for children. His extracurricular activities include staying fit, participating in recreational sports, and coaching baseball and basketball to children between the ages of 7 to 12 years.
