Description:
This course will review the physiology of the endocrine, nervous, gastrointestinal and genitourinary systems. Lecture periods will include a presentation of physiological concepts followed by a critical analysis of current understanding and research regarding the physiological mechanisms underlying health and disease. Practical application laboratory periods will correlate clinical presentations and laboratory metrics with underlying physiological processes and pathologies.
PREREQUISITE: Cellular, Muscle, Cardiovascular & Respiratory Physiology
