Financial Aid Information for Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena

A prospective chiropractor attending Texas Chiropractic College should consider financial aid as a supplement to their resources and not a primary source of income. The possibility of being eligible for financial aid should not influence a person's decision to enroll in our Pasadena chiropractic college. Instead, students should be genuinely interested in chiropractic research and have a strong desire to pursue a career as a professional chiropractor.

Texas Chiropractic College Financial Aid Mission Statement

Primary goals of our Financial Aid Office:

  • Offer assistance to students wishing to improve their lives through higher education school resources
  • Facilitate access to financial aid so that economically disadvantaged students can pursue and attain their educational objectives
  • Provide experienced debt management and financial aid specialists to help students fill out and submit a variety of financial aid forms.

We would also like our prospective students to be aware that our Office of Financial Aid does not have revenue-sharing agreements with lenders, has never accepted fund offers from lenders for use in private education loans and has never received financial compensation from lenders for the purpose of serving on advisory boards of lenders.

Staff members working in the Texas Chiropractic College Office of Financial Aid are bound to comply with our Mission Statement and the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators Statement of Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct for Institutional Financial Aid Professionals.

Financial Aid Office staff members are not permitted to accept gifts (in-kind services, travel, meals, lodging) from people representing student loan providers.  Staff members approached by lenders offering them supplemental employment must provide written documentation of this encounter to their supervisor. Supplemental employment with lenders by our staff members may create conflicts of interests with operations of the Texas Chiropractic College Office of Financial Aid.

Currently, we do not require OFA school staff to submit financial disclosure forms. However, a staff member will be expected to inform their supervisor if a particular task assigned to them might create perceived conflicts of interest from the public's point of view.

Staff members failing to adhere to guidelines enacted by the Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena are subject to disciplinary actions.

Financial Aid Privacy Act

Conversations and records between prospective chiropractic students, their families and the FAO staff are strictly confidential. Need-based financial aid awarded to students is never made public. In accordance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act, financial aid information relevant to the student remains confidential unless our FAO receives written consent from the student to allow release information. Additionally, our Office of Financial Aid will never discuss confidential information with the student via email or over the phone.
