Scholarships

Scholarships are made available by a variety of sources, each with its own criteria and deadline. Some scholarships may only be available when funding for a particular year has been provided.

Additionally, there are numerous national scholarships available throughout the year. Please contact the Office of Financial at 281-998-6022 for the most up to date listings.

Federal CARES Act Grant

Texas Chiropractic College is now providing grants to students with funding from the Federal CARES Act.

Qualifications: 

  • Funds are available to currently enrolled students who are eligible to receive financial aid. 
  • Student's eligibility will be determined based on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid for the 2020-21 academic year. Potentially eligible students who have not yet filed a FAFSA should do so as soon as possible. 
  • The fund may assist students with eligible expenses related to their cost of attendance, health care, and childcare. Expenses must be from March 13, 2020, to present date and must be due to hardship experienced as a result of Coronavirus/COVID-19. 
  • Submitted applications will be reviewed to determine eligibility.  
  • Funds will be awarded based on need and availability.

Faculty Association COVID Mask Scholarship 

This scholarship was established to help students who have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Send nominations to Arthur Goudeau at [email protected] by September 16. Include in your submission your nominee’s full name and reasons why you are nominating them.

Pathway To Excellence Scholarship Program

The Pathway to Excellence Scholarship is TCC's most prestigious award to incoming students. The Program is offered to entering students and begins with the fall trimester of 2010. Recipients must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above in order to be eligible.

Students who meet the criteria will be awarded $2,000 per trimester for a total of $20,000 over the course of their ten trimester career at TCC. PTE recipients will maintain their award if they achieve a 3.25 grade point average at the end of their third trimester. This means that scholars are guaranteed $6,000 awards. After the third trimester recipients must continuously maintain a 3.25 minimum grade point average throughout the remainder of the ten trimester course of study. All entering students with a minimum 3.5 gpa will receive the initial scholarship award.

Academic Honors Award

This one-time $2,000 scholarship is awarded to all incoming students who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.25-3.49 in their previous coursework. This program was implemented to complement the College's Pathway to Excellence Program.


Dr. John Massare Scholarship

In honor of Dr. John Massare, the Faculty Association and the Technique Department has created a scholarship to recognize a Trimester 6 (or above) student for outstanding knowledge and skills in Chiropractic Technique.  The financial value of this award is $1000.  Awards will be given annually.

The Standard Process Scholarship
(Awarded in the Fall Only)

The Standard Process Scholarship will be awarded in the Fall.

This one-time $2500 scholarship will be awarded to a full-time student who will be enrolled in Trimester 2- 10 that has a  Cumulative GPA of 2.9 or above.

Rotary Essay Competition

Following selection of the best two essays, the winners will be contacted by the Rotary Club of Pasadena with instructions on how and when to claim their prize. 

It is the expectation of the Rotary Club of Pasadena that the winners of the essay competition will attend one of the weekly meetings of the club, soon after notification, to receive their award. 

Rotary is providing an award of $1000 for each of the two winning essays. 

Submission deadline is Thursday May 19, 2022, by 5 pm to the TCC Financial Aid Office.
