Mike Joyce

R.M.T.
Registered Massage Therapist

Mike Joyce is a graduate of West Coast College of Massage Therapy (August 2014) in Victoria BC. Following graduation Mike moved to Parksville, BC at the beginning of 2015 after living in Victoria for the previous twelve years.

Mike started giving massages when he was a teenager to friends and family, and really enjoyed being able to help relax and heal others. He's been in love with the profession ever since and nothing makes him happier than to help out others.

Mike likes to use deep tissue techniques, myofascial work, general swedish massage(GSM), triggerpoint therapy and cranial/sacral work to help with sports injuries, strains, sprains, fibromyalgia, disc bulges, sciatica, or any other health problems. Mike can also help if you simply wish to receive a relaxation treatment.

Currently, Mike is looking into getting more training in the next year or so for increased muscle energy technique(MET) methods.

Registered Massage Therapist

Tom graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2016. He has been an avid rugby player for 12 years playing at top club level in BC. His experience in athletics went a long way in his understanding of the body, movement, and injury. He understands how posture and bio-mechanics can affect aches & pains, and their relation to pathology.

Tom incorporates Swedish and Deep Tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, passive and active stretching to provide a balanced and effective treatment for his patients. Every treatment is catered to the patient’s pain and postural alignments.

Tom regularly gives home care stretches and strengthening exercises at the end of every treatment for each patient to encourage proper postural position and to change the ergonomics in lifestyle activity.

Originally from Ducan BC, Tom enjoys staying active with weight training, biking, hiking and snowboarding.
