Fall prevention with Chiropractic

Almost 30% of aging Americans over the age of 65 fall each year. There is an increase in falls, decrease mobility as Americans age until 85. Fatal falls in older persons exceed the death rate from the opioid epidemic. Chiropractic has been researched to evaluate the relevance on this issue and how it can prevent some of these falls. Chiropractic has a preventative approach, with spinal manipulation to increase joint mobility for better movement; decrease pain for better posture awareness; educational home exercises to maintain and increase motion. There are several methods to keep the body healthy and strong but mobility is the key to prevent deterioration and degeneration long term. Chiropractic helps restore the bodies natural range of motion and keeps the fluidity of the joints functioning.
