Natural treatment for ADHD

ADHD: Natural Solution without Shots, Needles, and Medication

What is ADHD?

As a behavioral disorder, it’s thought that up to 10% of school children are now affected to some degree with ADHD. Strangely enough, boys are far more likely to be diagnosed (three times more) yet scientists still aren't sure why this is the case. Not only do we not know why boys are more susceptible to this condition, we also don’t know how or why it develops. In the past, there has been some links drawn between food allergies and ADHD symptoms and this is going to be our focus for today.

For children with ADHD, they tend to have difficulty focusing while also showing hyperactive tendencies. Despite understanding what is expected of them, they struggle to deliver because they simply can’t sit still or take instructions as you would expect.

Types of ADHD - Often, people believe ADHD is just one health problem but it’s actually an umbrella term that covers three different types. Firstly, we have the hyperactive-impulsive ADHD and this leaves children constantly fidgeting, talking, moving, running, climbing, interrupting, and intruding. In addition to this, they have trouble taking in instructions and remaining seated for long periods of time.

Next, others will have an inattentive ADHD which focuses more on the lack of concentration, organization, and an overall inability to pay attention to the details. When completing work at school, they’ll make simple errors because they couldn't give it the right level of attention. For any tasks that require mental effort, they’ll switch off relatively quickly and they get distracted by classmates easier than most; there could also be some forgetfulness.

Finally, there can also be children with combined ADHD which is where they show signs of both sides; this is actually the most common type of all.

ADHD Symptoms - If you’ve noticed a slight difference in your child to other children of the same age, you might be wondering whether they have ADHD. If you’re reading this as research, you need to be aware of the three types and what they mean for your child. For most parents, they notice the hyperactivity throughout the day and the fact they’re always moving even when they’re supposed to be sitting still. Sometimes, parents will have problems getting them to rest at night, to read, bath, and eat dinner because they want to be moving; this leads to fidgeting.

On the other hand, they may struggle to hold and deliver on simple instructions which can be frustrating to watch. At times, it seems as though they aren't listening and they can forget something you told them just a few seconds earlier. Elsewhere, they might lose things easily and make silly mistakes multiple times.

Of course, you could also spot a combination of these symptoms in your child since cases aren't always clear-cut. In truth, every case can be different with the combination of symptoms shown.

Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique

Shortened to N.A.E.T, Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique is a theory discovered and developed by Dr Devi Nambudripad who has extensive experience in both the chiropractor and acupuncture industries. Located in California, her Buena Park clinic welcomes hundreds of people a day and we’ve been lucky enough to visit many times; we’ve seen her extensive research up close.

As we touched upon earlier, there seems to be a correlation between food allergies/sensitivities and ADHD/ADD; there’s also a link with vaccine reactions and heavy metals. If we can work on these sensitivities, this suggests we can also work on the ADHD symptoms and this is where N.A.E.T comes into use.

Can N.A.E.T help your child? Yes, I believe it can and this is why we’re now offering N.A.E.T solutions at our facility. As a chiropractor in Plantation, I’m Dr David Popkin and I would love to discuss N.A.E.T with you as a means of reducing ADHD symptoms. In the past, we’ve been able to help many families and would love to add your name to the list. Please feel free to get in touch today to speak with one of our experts and learn more!

N.A.E.T History - Although this technique is starting to become more popular today, it has actually been available for over 30 years. To this day, around 11,000 practitioners have visited Dr Devi for training so the idea is certainly spreading. However, this niche just doesn’t have the advertising budget or power to spread the news. Therefore, awareness is still stuttering somewhat and word-of-mouth seems to be the most valuable marketing tool available. With the rise of social media and technology, N.A.E.T is now finally getting recognition in allergy reference materials and medical research journals.

How Does N.A.E.T Work? - For N.A.E.T to work, it relies on the principles of electromagnetic energy (EME) which describes the body in terms of electrical currents. With energy channels/meridians running through the body, a blockage occurs whenever there’s an allergic reaction; the various blocked channels then cause the different symptoms.

In N.A.E.T, we work on either side of the spine to stimulate ‘alarm points’; at the same time, the patient holds the allergen vial. By doing this, the electromagnetic energy shifts and the allergic response can be adjusted. Enzymatic, a chemical within the body, pairs with a physiologic change to interrupt the antigen-antibody reaction (by neutralizing the immune mediators). Ultimately, this all culminates in the clearing of blockages and the brain is notified of the allergen desensitization.

Often, the term ‘clearing’ or ‘being cleared’ will be used and this is in regard to the solution of the allergen. If the solution is successful, there should no longer be a reaction to the allergen and this leaves you (or your child) free from the previous issues.

Typical N.A.E.T Help - Before anything, the patient will wash their hands carefully and this allows for foreign substances to be eliminated. From here, all electric or battery-operated devices need to be removed and this includes watches. To find the substance causing the allergic reaction, a muscle response testing (MRT) procedure will occur. As a painless test, a surrogate will be used when the patient is a child or baby; typically, this will be a parent. Once the surrogate has been checked for allergies and the findings have been recorded, the first help can begin.

To start, a small vial containing the allergen energetic will be held by the patient. Once they feel comfortable and are happy to go ahead, the doctor will stimulate acupressure points all along the spine using a small instrument. Once again, this is painless and the techniques available include electro-acupressure, acupressure, needle acupuncture, or laser acupuncture depending on the needs and preferences of the patient. Once the natural help solution is over, the patient takes around 20 minutes to relax.

During this 20 minutes, the body works towards desensitizing against the allergen. If the patient is a child, the vial can be strapped to their body to make things easier. After the waiting period, the patient will wash their hands but this time without any type of soap. Unless the patient has any questions, they’ll be given written instructions for things they can and can’t do over the next few days before leaving.

Avoiding the Allergen - After the session, the patient is required to avoid several substances for a certain amount of time. Since the body is in a heightened state, it is sensitive to the cleared allergens so most doctors will suggest at least 25 hours but it’s normally decided on a case-by-case basis.

Risks and Side Effects - Whenever the topic of N.A.E.T arises, one of the biggest questions seems to revolve around the risks and side effects. Since N.A.E.T is a natural solution, there hasn't been one single side effect reported over the 30 years and this opens the solution up to people of all ages. Whether it’s children, adults, pregnant women, or newborns, the only issue that may arise is an allergic reaction if the rules of the avoidance period aren't followed.

With N.A.E.T boasting a high success rate, this comes from proper consultation and protocols. For our chiropractor Plantation office, we always put the patient first and this means you benefit from the right precautions and instructions. As long as you’re willing to follow these, we can work together to eliminate the allergen and, hopefully, impact positively on ADHD.

In the long-term, N.A.E.T offers improved health, a severe reduction in allergies and their symptoms, an enhanced immune system, and an overall improvement in wellbeing.

Helping with Allergens Correctly - With Dr Nambudripad’s research, there are certain things that need to be done to ensure success and the correct ordering of allergens is one of the most important factors at our chiropractor Plantation. Essentially, allergens need to be helped in the right order and it starts with food. Since we need food to survive, this is normally the starting point; while we can avoid most chemicals and environmental allergens, it’s tough to avoid food so, by dealing with these first, we can boost digestion, the immune system, and more. While helping with other allergens, your body can receive all the important nutrients.

With this in mind, the solution will normally follow a fixed order starting with egg mix and running through calcium, vitamin C, B-complex, sugar, vitamin A, iron, salt, chlorides, mineral mix, corn, yeast, and wheat. As each food group links to the next, this order is strict if you want to see the best results.

Required Help - If you’re wondering how many sessions will be necessary, this is a tough question for us to answer directly because each case is different. Not only do we have a different genetic makeup, we also differ in personality, body type, and medical history. This being said, we can tell you what ‘normally’ happens so you get a basic idea and this is that each allergen will require one session.

Instead of taking them all on at once, only one allergen will be helped at any one time because your body needs to focus on each one. In addition to this, we wouldn't want to restrict you so severely by cutting off supply to numerous food groups at once. When helping with food allergens, dealing five allergens at the same time would remove five food groups from your diet and this just wouldn't work. During sessions, we don’t recommend fasting because you need nutrients to keep your body healthy.

N.A.E.T v Allergy Shots - If you’re currently doing research, you may have read about allergy shots because these seem to be popular within the market currently. If you want short-term relief, they certainly work but this is all they can do unfortunately. If you haven't seen the products previously, the idea is to inject a small amount of the allergen into the skin to desensitize the body. While this works on the symptoms of said allergy, it can’t provide a long-term solution.

For the most part, injections take place twice a week for up to seven years with the dosage decreasing gradually as time goes on. Not only does this become an inconvenience in your life, the injections can actually be quite painful too.

With N.A.E.T in our chiropractor in Plantation, there are no needles, no shots, no medication, and no pain. Depending on the case, most patients are free from the allergy within a few sessions which makes results come much faster. Unless you have more allergies than most, you’ll be able to lose this lifelong problem in around three months and you can live your life with more freedom.

Contact Us Today - If you have any questions or would like some support, feel free to call Dr Popkin as a chiropractor in Plantation’s office today. As well as offering information, we can also ease concerns and discuss your child’s ADHD. If left unhelped, ADHD can affect their entire educational career as well as their job prospects. With N.A.E.T, we can reduce the allergen side of things and work towards a solution!

N.A.E.T Customer Testimonials

Paul - ‘At the age of seven years, we started to notice ADHD tendencies in our little boy. At first, we didn't know what to do but then we tried N.A.E.T. After being diagnosed, we thought this was a good option and we’ve seen a difference after eight sessions. With eight basic sessions, both temper tantrums and behavioral issues have decreased noticeably so we thank Dr Popkin.’

Julia - ‘Around three years ago, our son was diagnosed with ADD but we’ve only recently heard about N.A.E.T. Ever since the diagnosis, we’ve tried an array of different sessions  but none of them even come close to the results we’ve seen with N.A.E.T. Suddenly, we have hope and our son also looks happier and more relaxed on a daily basis. After three years of searching, we didn't give up and we finally have a solution we would happily recommend to friends, family, and anyone with a child that suffers with ADD/ADHD.’

Terry - ‘At five years of age, little James started N.A.E.T. In addition to ADD/PDD, he also struggled with mild autism and this led to angry behavior. Unfortunately, he was expelled from numerous preschools and he only ever wanted to eat sugar-based foods. After the basics, and then five sessions revolving around the donuts and sugary snacks, there has been a great improvement in his behavior and attitude. At school, the teachers praise his effort and he has been attending with his friends for over a year. Also, the sugar cravings are reducing and Ritalin is no longer required!’
