Crock Pot Black Bean Pumpin Turkey Chili

CROCK POT BLACK BEAN PUMPKIN TURKEY CHILI

Ingredients:
1 white onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 TBSP coconut oil
1 pound ground turkey
1 jalapeno, finely chopped
1 1/2 TSP cumin
2 1/2 TBSP chili powder
1/4 TSP red cayenne pepper
1/4 TSP ground cinnamon
1/8 TSP ground cloves
1 TSP himalayan salt
2 TBSP pure maple sugar
28oz can diced tomato
15oz can pumpkin puree
15oz can black beans
3/4 cup low sodium chicken broth

Directions:
In a large skillet on medium/high heat add your coconut oil. Then add in
your onion, jalapeno and garlic. Cook these ingredients for 2 minutes then
add in ground turkey, while cooking break meat into smaller pieces until
brown. Now add in all the spices to cook for 30 more seconds. Transfer
skillet items to crock pot and add in syrup, tomato, broth, pumpkin puree,
and black beans. Combine all ingredients by stirring. Cook in the crock pot
on low heat for 6-7 hours or high heat for 2-3 hours. Add toppings as
needed and enjoy!
