Proctor Chiropractic is participating in the “Princess with a Purpose” Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital toy drive – and we need your support!

“Princess with a Purpose”: Join Proctor Chiropractic to Support This Worthy Cause!

The Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital is southwest Washington’s trusted referral center for children who are sick or injured, including children diagnosed with leukemia. Several years ago, one of these patients was a spirited, curly-haired little girl named Dryden. Diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Dryden and her family wanted to use this battle with cancer as an inspiration to bring happiness to others, rather than focus on the negative aspects of cancer. They created “Princess with a Purpose” to bring joy and inspiration to others. As part of their mission, Dryden and her family collect toys every holiday season to donate to the Mary Bridge Hematology/Oncology Clinic. These donations will help to entertain patients and their siblings during long visits at the clinic.

Today, Dryden is cancer-free and remains as committed as ever to bringing joy to others. Our entire wellness care team is inspired by Dryden’s passion for using her tough battle with cancer to help others. Even when faced with great obstacles, amazing things can and will come out of hard situations. We’re proud to partner with Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and “Princess with a Purpose” to help spread joy this holiday season! It’s the perfect way to celebrate our 10th anniversary and re-affirm our commitment to empowering Tacoma residents to live healthy, active lives!

Want to Help or Donate?

Bring an unwrapped, new toy to Proctor Chiropractic during the month of December. We’ll be collecting toys at the end of the month and donating them to Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital. Every item makes a difference! Suggested donations include puzzles, crayons, coloring books, stickers, and flashcards to help children stay occupied during long hospital stays.
