ROCKTAPE is a unique kind of tape known as kinesiology tape. It was first used by acupuncturists and chiropractors in Japan, today kinesiology tape is used by many types of practitioners throughout the world to treat injuries and improve sports performance.
While the use of kinesiology tape is often associated with professional athletes such as Serena Williams, Kerri Walsh and Lance Armstrong, the reality is that ROCKTAPE is effective for the treatment of a wide variety of problems you may be experiencing, not just sports injuries.
What Can ROCKTAPE Be Used For?
- Achilles tendonitis
- Plantar fasciitis
- ACL/MCL issues
- Rotator cuff
- Groin and hamstring pulls
- Lower back issues
- Shin splints
- Tennis and golf elbow
- Pain associated with pregnancy
- Postural correction
How does it work?
RockTape has a bias in the weave of the fabric so it stretches along the length of the tape, but not the width. This results in a bio-mechanical lifting mechanism that lifts your skin away from the soft tissue underneath, resulting in more blood flow into your injured area to speed up healing and recovery.
Additonally ROCTAPE provides an increased amount of neurological input that improves your body's awareness. The result being your weak/inhibited muscles increase their function, and your spastic muscles function are more normalized.
