Dr. Derek Cardenas

Dr. Derek Cardenas was born and raised in Pasco, Washington. He attended the University of Washington where he received his Bachelor's degree in Biology with a focus in Physiology. Dr. Cardenas then attended Life Chiropractic College West in the San Francisco Bay area where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Dr. Cardenas' first experience with chiropractic was here at Ultra Chiropractic while he was a student at the University of Washington. Desperate to find an answer other than surgery or the continuous use of harmful medications for his debilitating migraine headaches and low back spasms, Dr. Derek came to Ultra Chiropractic.

'The changes in my health that I experienced in just a few weeks as a chiropractic patient allowed me to take charge of my own health again, they motivated me to live a lifestyle I could be proud of. Regular chiropractic check-ups, a new way of eating, increased movement, and a much better attitude gave me my life back. My pain is gone, I have lost over 100 pounds, my energy is up, and my mental focus is sharp! I wish that somebody had told me that chiropractic could help me while I was still in middle school.'

Because of his experiences Dr. Cardenas brings knowledge, passion, and a fresh holistic approach to the office. He enjoys working with patients to meet their overall health and lifestyle goals, whether their goals are as simple as a diet change to lose weight, or as complex as living a complete anti-inflammatory, neuro-protective lifestyle.
