Massage or Exercise?

If you have a regular exercise/activity plan, 3-5-7 days a week that you follow consistently, then a massage is a great add-on for those tight muscles, tendons and ligaments.

If you don't, then exercise is more important.

To get the maximum benefit from massage, then we want to give the massage therapist more muscles to work with.

"Massage is a type of integrative medicine in which a massage therapist rubs and kneads skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments. In massage therapy, a massage therapist rubs and kneads the soft tissues of your body. The soft tissues include muscle, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and skin." - MayoClinic

The more muscle we have, then the more bang for our buck we are getting out of the massage.

Don't know where to start with your exercise plan?  Give me a call or shoot me a text, and we can brain storm with for a few minutes.

Blessings,

Dr Asa
