If we can help our hips and hamstrings, then they can help our spine.
We spend most of the day sitting upright, working our spine, while we squish our hips and hamstrings.
When we squat and walk, then we are engaging our hips and hamstrings in a way that builds strength in them.
The stronger the hips and hamstrings, the more they can help your spine.
Squats can be to a chair without any additional weight. Just sit down and stand up.
Walking... Well you know how to walk (LOL!), but try walking deliberately with long strides rather than the usual shuffle around the house.
Squatting and walking is all it takes to get started towards healthier and happier Hips and Hamstrings. See the link HERE for another good one you can do (and you don't need any weights for this one either).
Let me know if you need any help.
Blessings,
Dr Asa
