Meet Dr. Scott:
My Injury Led Me Toward Chiropractic
The Hospital Doctor told me it was a
pulled muscle. Go home and take these medications. I could not work, it
was difficult to sleep and it interrupted my life.
I was injured at the gym lifting weights. As I raised a weight overhead, I felt a pulling spasm in the middle upper back. I dropped the weight because of a weakness in the right hand with severe pain. I was taken to the hospital, where they did X-rays and an examination. They said it was a pulled muscle and I should go home and take the muscle relaxer and pain medications. I asked them if they had a chiropractor on staff. They just laughed. That night was one of the worst nights ever. The next day my Grandmother took me to her Chiropractor and the rest is history. I enrolled in school the next semester to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. As a chiropractor I empathize with your pain. It is my goal as a chiropractor to get you better, moving and on your way.
