Dr. Matthew L Weaklend

I am Dr. Matt Weaklend and I appreciate you reading this to see if we are the right chiropractic clinic for you. I was born in Omaha and raised in Fremont. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and soon after graduation went north to Minneapolis where I attended Chiropractic school at Northwestern and received my Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Shortly after graduation I moved out to California and began work for an office that combined Medical Doctors, Chiropractors and Physical therapists together in the same office. After working in this environment I came across another wonderful opportunity and became the clinic director for California Pain Relief Specialists.

After a couple years in California I felt it was time to move back to Omaha and open an office. So back in 2004 I began work and opened Lakeside Chiropractic Specialists. I am very proud of the business and product that we have created. We strive to make everyone feel welcome and will greet you with a warm smile whether it be on the phone or in the office. We do not qualify our patients by the quality of their insurance. Everyone that needs Chiropractic care will get that care in our office regardless of their financial situation. We will make it work for you and your family.

My passion within the Chiropractic profession is helping families. A typical story for us is to help a man or woman who is suffering from neck or back pain and then begin helping their wife or husband and before we know it, we are treating their kids as well as their friends and neighbors for a wide variety of symptoms as well as just wellness. Chiropractic and Acupuncture have the ability to change lives in more ways than just pain relief. What ways are you willing to let Chiropractic help?

Within the Chiropractic profession there are a tremendous number of techniques that chiropractors use to treat their patients. I use a wide variety of these techniques, but mainly I use a very gentle technique called prone specific. Without getting too technical we try to use as light of force as needed to get the vertebra to move and to get the pressure off of the nerves, often times with little or no popping. In fact, it is so gentle that we treat a whole lot of newborn babies!  As much as we love all of our patients there is a little something special about those babies.

As a business we take great pride in the fact that over 90 percent of our patient's come from direct referrals from satisfied patients. It has always been my dream to create a practice that delivers care in a way in which people not only get better but will willingly refer their friends and family who are in need. Our Mission is to have a positive impact on our community's quality of life through the use of Chiropractic and Acupuncture; focusing on one family, one individual, one adjustment at a time. Stacy comes to us from California with customer service experience from In-N-Out burger and locally from Omaha Steaks. Stacy's real talent is making people feel at home and her expertise comes in the form of making the complicated world of insurance sound simple. We are so blessed to have Julia.  Sweet, kind, caring, witty and smart.  These are the words that I use to describe her.  Julia comes to us after a 7 year career of owning and operating a thriving massage therapy business.  This experience gives her tremendous insight on the value that Chiropractic and acupuncture play in the course of health.  She also has great insurance industry knowledge and a terrific customer service background.  Feel free to call us and ask her health related questions.  She is very knowledgeable and quite nice to talk with as well.  

Jenee G

Jenee started with us in 2016 and has been a wonderful asset to have in the office. She is great with people can handle a lot of things thrown at her at the same time. Jenee flawlessly handles the flow of patients in our office and makes everyone feel at home and welcome.  Jenee has quickly become very astute in the rules and the games of filing insurance.  She can certainly handle any questions you may have and we are blessed to have her in the office.  In her spare time Jenee loves to play volleyball and softball she can often times be found on the weekends at the biggest volleyball and softball tournaments in the region.  It is my belief that it may be hard to find someone who is "sweeter" than Jenee when it comes to personality.
