Boys Run On Bro Program

Mission Statement

The Mission of Boys Run On is to provide a Health, Wellness, Skills Development and Environmental Awareness program providing the Tools, the Head and the Heart to make Our Boys Successful in Life.

Goals and Objectives

To provide easy access to a program that will deliver:

  • A safe atmosphere for emotional expression, growth and development.
  • Necessary life and social skills not always acquired elsewhere.
  • Proper neuro-muscular growth, strength and balance development.
  • Help to see their hard work payoff in completing a 5K run.
  • An affordable way for all to participate.

The objective is not to create better athletes, but to instill the fact that staying fit, eating well and having a healthy lifestyle can be fun. Studies have shown that sustained enjoyment and participation in activities designed to improve physical fitness and health during childhood and adolescence may be effective in prompting regular physical activity as an ongoing lifestyle choice into adulthood.

BRO Keys to Success

Elementary age boys need a number of factors to be successful in life. If children are confident and feel positive about themselves toward the end of this period, they are better prepared to move on to take more risks and gain a better understanding of themselves in adolescence.

The BRO program has the Knowledge Base, Thought Leaders, A Creative and Highly Competent Board of Directors providing the Expert Resources Necessary to develop a curriculum and exercise program to fulfill the BRO Mission.

BRO is so much more than just a running program.

Testimonials

  • "My son was experiencing handwriting problems at school and the occupational therapist was not able to diagnose them. After his first adjustment, he woke the next morning much cheerier, telling me he slept "awesome." The school therapist called that afternoon to say there were no tremors in his handwriting that day. He looks forward to each appointment. Dr. Greg is fabulous!" (results after 1 adjustment)"
