Surgical Technologist

I am not sure what caused the pain to start. I twirled a baton for most of my life and thats the only thing I can link it to. The pain has been going on for awhile but it really has gotten worse since I started my Surgical Technologist position. Sometimes it is just hard to stand, sit or even to lay down. But, I have learned to ignore it and go on. The extreme pain has been going on for about 3 years now. I have never seen a doctor before about the pain and I rarely took any pain medications because that did not fix anything. I did not/do not want surgery so I tried to be careful with what I was doing. I over heard a friend at work talking about the "Health Pass" to another co-worker. I broke in their conversation and asked her to get me a pass. That was the middle of April 2011. Since seeing Dr. Steph I try and sit better and have better posture. I worked 10.5 hours on a Saturday and wore led in some of the cases. I did not notice until later that my back was not hurting. I did NOT hurt all day! :-) Two of my co-workers are patients here. They both spoke highly of Winegardner Chiropractic and are very pleased with how they feel. I love it here at Winegardner Chiropractic. I wish I had started coming here years ago. I feel so much better! :-) -Leslie

Testimonials

  • "I always exercised and ate well, but had no idea what benefits chiropractic could have. I thought I was good, now my body works even better."

  • "It started with a slight pain in my shoulder that turned into a deep, sharp, constant pain. I continued on with all normal activities, only with lots of pain. My family Doctor told me that it was a pulled muscle or some injury that would have to heal itself. There was nothing he could do to help me. Dr. Winegardner came and spoke at an event at my work, and I also have co-workers that are patients here. So I became a patient in December of 2011. Dr. Winegardner sat down with me and we discussed my pain and discomfort. She not only adjusted me and put me on therapy, but she also gave me tips for running and working out. These conversations, along with the advice she gives me on my eating habits, have allowed me to live without pain."
