When I was 18 years old, I was training for a national power lifting championship when I sustained a severe low back injury that caused me to forego the competition and left me bed ridden for some time. One of my training partners told me I should see a chiropractor. The rest as they say is history. After the first adjustment, I was up and about. A week later I was back in the gym training. Chiropractic became part of my life.

As amazing as I thought that was, I wasn’t expecting what was to follow. My entire life up to that moment, I was plagued with chronic bronchitis, frequent colds, a diet rich with medication, as well as ADHD. As I continued to live with chiropractic as part of my lifestyle, I became aware that I seldom get sick. If I do, I recover faster. I have never taken another medication.
Perhaps what I find most miraculous, is that I am a Chiropractor. Living with ADHD made it challenging to focus in and out of school to say the least. Two years into my new lifestyle I was able to concentrate and focus. College and Chiropractic school were now attainable.
I completed my undergraduate education at Iona College, graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Following this, I  attended Life University, the most prestigious Chiropractic College in the world, to earn my Doctorate in Chiropractic.
I taught as an adjunct professor at his alma mater Iona College where he taught Exercise Science and Anatomy and Physiology. I am a co-author of Exercise Science: Understanding and Evaluating Physical Fitness and Health 2nd Edition.
I recently moved back to Tennessee with his wife and their 2 dogs. He speaks to organizations in the community on stress management, diet, and a myriad of health topics. My purpose is to serve and share the life enhancing benefits of Chiropractic with the community and the world at large.
