History
Dr. Ed Travis started life in California, graduated from Valley Christian High School and San Jose State University. He was a Captain in the US Air Force ending at Bergstrom AFB in Austin. After Texas Chiropractic College graduation he opened his practice in Bastrop in 1984.

Dr. Travis has worked with the Wrangler Pro-Rodeo Circuit treating riders, bullfighters, and clowns. He's worked with athletes in the Pro-Beach Volleyball competition, bike racers in several events, and was selected to work the Tae-Kwon-Do National Finals in Houston. Additionally, Dr. Travis worked with the Bastrop High School Football teams for several years, pioneered "Neuro-Functional Chiropractic" in Bastrop as a certified TBM practitioner.
He also helped with the Boy Scouts at the district level for several years and enjoys golf and traveling. He has worked as a Texas high school football referee for the past 35 years.
