Where's Your Mouse?

Okay, where is it? Where is your mouse?

I want everybody, right now, if you're not sitting at your desk to stand up and go ahead and put your hand where your mouse would be.

So if you have to have your arm way out here for your mouse, you're in the wrong position, and that is going to lead to neck pain, shoulder pain, elbow pain, and wrist pain.

What I want you to understand where your mouse should be, is if you just let your arm hang to the side and then go ahead and lift your elbow up.

Your elbow should be at about a 90 to 110 degree angle. If it's up here, that's no good, and that could be the cause of all of the pain you're experiencing.

So if you need to, one of the best things I can recommend, if you don't have a keyboard tray, is to put your mouse on your thigh, and go ahead and just use your thigh because then you can leave your arm nice and relaxed.

Okay. That is your ergonomic tip for today.

I hope that helps. Have an amazing day.
