Laura's Lentil and Brown Rice |

Thyme, garlic, basil and oregano are the key spices making this dinner delicious.
Ingredients
- 4 1/2 chicken broth or water
- 1/4 cup dried lentils
- 1 cup brown rice
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients and place into a 9x13 baking dish and bake, covered at 350 degrees for 75 minutes.
- Top with 8 ounce shredded cheddar cheese. Bake an additional 15-20 minutes.
