Asian Chicken Skewers

Make the tastiest Asian Kabob's with this quick and simple recipe that is sure to tempt the taste buds.
Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into inch pieces
  • 10 scallions, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/3 cup naturally fermented soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and mashed
  • 8 skewers

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to broil. Thread chicken,scallions and pepper onto skewers, place in a shallow dish.
  2. Whisk together the soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, ginger and garlic. Pour 1/2 cup onto the skewers and turn to coat. Let marinate at room temperature for about 10 minutes. Use rest of sauce for dipping at the table.
  3. Lightly brush olive oil on the grill pan. Place skewers on the pan. Broil, turning skewers and basting occasionally with left over marinade, until the chicken is no longer pink, about 10 minutes.
