Here is a tasty and nutritional granola bar recipe guaranteed to be a healthy and filling snack idea.
Ingredients
- Grind:
- 1/2 rolled oats
- 1/2 cup walnuts (or any nuts)
- Add:
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1 cup rolled oats
- Melt:
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- Topping-
- 1 tablespoon organic butter, melted
- 4 oz 100% baking chocolate bar (1 full bar)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together and spread into an 8x8 greased pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes (or until golden brown.) Cool and then spread on topping.
