After graduating high school with an International Baccalaureate diploma, Dr. Lisa then went on to attend undergraduate school at Stetson University, followed by post graduate studies at Life University. During her time in Chiropractic college, she was elected president of the only professional chiropractic sorority on campus.
Immediately after graduating as a doctor of chiropractic, Dr. Lisa developed a very unique business, in which she ran other doctors’ practices while they were on vacation or for longer periods, like maternity leave. Because it’s not easy to find a competent doctor with whom to entrust your patients during your absence, it didn’t take long before she was quite sought-after. Dr. Lisa has had the blessing of running 15 different practices before she and her husband opened their own office in Miami. She credits the valuable experience of seeing such a wide variety of cases so early in her career with helping to make her the excellent doctor of chiropractic she is today.
One of the things we love about Bartell Chiropractic Life Center is our families! We love taking care of lots of kids and expectant mothers, and we will always continue to develop the practice in this direction. Dr. Lisa is continually learning and furthering her training in her passion: prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care. Dr. Lisa’s loving energy, combined with the experience of growing up in a family raised under chiropractic care, make her a natural choice for our mommies and babies. Only a small fraction of the chiropractic profession is experienced in chiropractic care for pregnant women and pediatric care, and as a result, a large percentage of the practice members at Bartell Chiropractic are kids. Dr. Lisa has even been honored with the opportunity to attend several births, to attend to the chiropractic needs of the mother during labor; as well as to check the newborn immediately following its very stressful experience of coming into the world.
