San Jose Chiropractors FAQ

Trying to choose between San Jose chiropractors can be a daunting task. We understand that the right fit is important for you to get the results you are looking for – that’s why we’ve tried to provide answers to some of the most common questions we hear from new and current chiropractic patients.

Do you take insurance?

San Jose chiropractors frequently asked questions

As a San Jose CA chiropractor we take most PPO insurances and some HMO. We have other chiropractors in our office that may cover your insurance. You can call us with your insurance information prior to your initial visit and our staff will contact you with your coverage prior to your initial visit. Remember your consultation is always free!

Once I start, will I have to go forever?

Our treatment plans have time limits and from the start you will know when the changes will occur. As you progress your treatment will be finalized.

Would you work with my medical doctor?

Our goal is to get you results, so yes, of course we will work with your primary care doctor. Sometimes we may also refer you for a second opinion or consultation to another professional.

Will you suggest exercises or other things I can do?

We always like to keep you active. Your health depends upon it. During your course of treatment our doctor may show specific exercises for your condition. He will also spend some time to train you on some strengthening exercises.

Are you one of those chiropractors who think they can cure everything?

No, we believe that our job as your chiropractor is to not cure any condition, but to restore function to your nervous system by resolving subluxation.

Do I need a referral from a physician or my insurance company?

No, most of our patients chose us based upon their own inquiries, personal referrals or some by their doctors recommendation.

Can someone who has had back surgery see a chiropractor?

In most cases, the patient will benefit from post surgical chiropractic care, but every case should be evaluated on it own merit.

Will I get adjusted on the first visit?

Yes, but in most cases we prefer to evaluate your exam and x-ray findings, and then develop a precise and suitable treatment plan. This may require extra time, but our doctors will always accommodate you.

If you still have any unanswered questions please don’t hesitate to call our San Jose chiropractic office or Email Us. We look forward to hearing from you!
