DISC PROBLEMS

OUR OFFICE HAS HAD SUCCES TREATING DISC PROBLEMS FOR 33 YEARS USING THE LATEST CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT

Spinal disc: The rubbery, cartilaginous tissue that separates vertebrae.  It allows shock absorption, normal spinal movement and separates the vertebrae so the nerve root can exit the spinal canal.

Disc bulge:  When the disc bulges out from its normal contour.

Disc herniation:  When the material inside the disc ruptures through the disc wall.

A disc bulge or herniation may press on the nerve root as it exits the spine.  This will cause pain and stiffness in the area of the spine near the disc and can cause symptoms in the arms or legs such as pain, tingling, numbness or a sense of weakness.

Although severe herniation may require surgery, most bulges and herniations don't, and can be managed or resolved with the modern chiropractic techniques we utilize in this office including traction, laser and others.

MOST DISC PROBLEMS DO NOT NEED SURGERY AND CAN BE HELPED WITH OUR TECHNIQUES
