Meet the Chiropractor

  • Dr.
    Kelly Daly

Dr. Kelly was born in Richland, Washington and then pursued her higher education at the University of Montana. She earned a bachelors degree in Exercise Science. Dr. Kelly spent 2 years working with a physical therapist designing rehabilitation exercise programs and running a specialized weight loss exercise program. Dr. Kelly also attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas where she earned her Doctorate and a certification in Applied Kinesiology. After graduation, she moved to Grand Junction, Colorado and discovered her passion for working with children, infants and expectant mothers. She is a certified Webster practitioner, this approach balances the function of the sacrum and its associated ligaments and muscles. Webster has proven to be extremely beneficial for expectant mothers and often relieves pain, increases the quality of sleep, decreases numbness and allows optimal baby positioning for shorter and less painful labor. Somehow Dr. Doug talked Dr. Kelly into moving up to Alaska, and she spent one adventurous year in Dutch Harbor with him hiking, taking photographs (which you will find all over our office) and trying to stay warm!

Dr. Kelly is currently pursuing continuing education and specialization in Pediatric and Prenatal Care through the ICPA. Learn more about Pediatric Chiropractic Care. Drs. Douglas and Kelly have 3 young kids and are currently loving the adventures of parenthood!

Dr. Kelly currently sits on the board of directors for the Acadiana Breastfeeding Coalition.

Dr. Kelly takes a 'whole person' approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column. Chiropractic care takes a vitalistic approach to health and healing. For example if your gallbladder makes stones, it is not because suddenly your body doesn't need your gallbladder anymore and you should remove it, instead we try to look for the cause of the gall stones. It could be something as simple as a diet that is too low in fat! You will often hear us saying 'I am not healing you, I am simply removing the interference in the nervous system and letting the power that made the body heal the body!' Under the supervision and care of our caring and skilled chiropractors, patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives.
