Dr Holt's practice is focused on maintaining and improving the health and well being of his patients using various forms of care including chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, IMS, exercise prescription and orthotics.
He moved to Edson and joined the clinic in 1999 after completing a BSc in Edmonton at the U of A, and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree (with clinical honors) in Toronto at CMCC. Further education has included training in acupuncture, IMS, concussion management, and gait analysis for the prescription of foot orthotics.
Dr Holt is married and has 3 children with his wife Leah. Since his wife is a travel agent they enjoy trips to various places in the world. His other interests include coaching basketball and fishing.

Dr. Mark Sloan started Edson Family Chiropractic and Natural Health Centre in 1996 after graduating from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. Since then he has enjoyed providing exceptional holistic health care to thousands of people of all ages from Edson and the surrounding communities. Besides an interest in Vitamins and Nutraceuticals, Dr. Sloan is proficient in many Chiropractic techniques. He predominantly uses Diversified technique but is also trained in Toggle Recoil technique, Gonstead technique, Motion Palpation Institute techniques and some rudimentary training in Activator and Logan Basic techniques. Another technique that has provided Dr. Sloan with fantastic results in the treatment of Headaches both Migraines and Cervicogenic has been the Cranial adjusting techniques.
Dr. Sloan has also had the privilege of training with Dr. Stuart McGill of Backfit pro.com who specializes in treating premiere professional athletes and Olympians as well as patients recovering from back surgeries. He is a world renowned expert on Intervertebral disc herniations, not only how to treat the injury but more importantly how to prevent them when training or working.
Dr. Sloan has also done coursework with Dr. Kim Christensen who works in a hospital is Seattle. He has created a treatment for Radicular pain and numbness in the arms and legs. This treatment, called Neuromobilization is a viable surgical alternative for nerve compression similar to Nerve flossing. This treatment has relieved the suffering or completely resolved the symptoms of hundreds of patient under Dr. Sloan's care since learning the treatment.
It is easy to see that Dr. Sloan enjoys a lifelong quest for knowledge, seeking new solutions to age old problems.
In his private life Dr. Sloan and his wife Sherry enjoy life with their three children on the farm. They train their horses for pack trips in the mountains or sleigh rides in the winter. They also enjoy hiking, fishing, camping and hunting as a family.
Dr. Aiden Sloan is a recent graduate of Western States University with a doctoral degree in chiropractic. Throughout his education at Western States, Dr. Aiden worked with a variety of patient populations across the lifespan, with many conditions including disc herniations, scoliosis, arthritis and chronic pain. Dr. Aiden is passionate about empowering patients to live their life to its fullest potential by reducing pain and increasing strength.
Dr. Aiden grew up in Edson and is happy to return to the community and lifestyle he loves. When Dr. Aiden is not at work, he is spending time outdoors. He loves to hunt, fish, ride and train horses as well as play with his golden retriever Luna.
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Blair Martin has been a Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Doctor of Acupuncture for approximately 16 years at Edson Family Chiropractic and Natural Health Centre.
He was raised playing hockey & baseball in the community of Edson and now gives back as a coach.
Blair has helped many people with ailments ranging from sports injuries and chronic pain to Headaches, Migraines, Menopause or PMS, stress and Anxiety as well as many other diverse conditions.
Blair uses a gentle but very effective style of acupuncture and his wealth of knowledge and experience have helped many over his years.
Chinese Medicine looks at the body as a whole and works by getting to the root of the issue.
