Laser Therapy In Brownsburg

One such technology we were especially excited to add to our list of services was Class IV Laser Therapy.

What is Class IV Laser Therapy?

Class IV laser therapy is a special type of therapy that utilizes a special frequency of laser light that can go through the top tissues of your body without causing pain, discomfort, or any type of damage. Instead, our chiropractor will use specialized tools to direct the lasers to your lower tissues to stimulate your cells to produce a substance called ATP. This ATP is what your cells use to repair themselves and to more quickly reproduce to repair a greater area. This can significantly aid a patient with serious injuries that require more intensive chiropractic techniques.

In addition to helping to stimulate this vital ATP, Class IV Laser therapy also has the secondary benefit of increasing blood flow at the treatment site. Better blood flow results in reduced edema and a better flow of vital nutrients throughout the body.

Common Conditions Treated By Class IV Therapy

Our chiropractic team at Indianapolis Sport & Spine specializes in sports injuries and treatments for common sport-oriented symptoms, such as tendinitis, and we find that laser therapy is wonderfully successful for our patients. However, you don't have to have been injured playing a sport to schedule a visit with us or request laser therapy services. We find laser therapy to be incredibly effective across a wide range of conditions and injuries, including the following:

  • General chronic pain from an injury, accident, or disease
  • Sprains and strains
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Nerve damage and pain
  • Fractures or aches from healing bones
  • Osteoarthritis and other forms of arthritis
  • Back or neck pain such as whiplash from a car accident
  • Nerve damage
  • Extremity joint pain
