October Research RoundUp

The October Research RoundUp compiled tips from 15 common conditions found in a chiropractic clinic. Midwest Chiropractic uses the ChiroUp research team who looks over hundreds of research articles every month to find the most pertinent information we can use in our clinic. The Research RoundUp allows us to incorporate new studies and research directly into our treatment protocols as they come out. Helping us get patients better faster!

In this months RoundUp they found information for diagnosing biceps tendinopathy, Migraine Headaches and IT Band conditions. Along with improved treatment for scapular dyskinesia, shoulder impingement, lumbar disc lesions, lumbar radiculopathy, and lumbar stenosis. One paper also showed patients who had undergone a lumbar discectomy were roughly three times more likely to undergo a lumbar fusion procedure than a patient with a lumbar diagnosis, but had not undergone a lumbar discectomy.
