It has been a month since Emery was born. I have been going a little stir crazy and wanting to get back to working out so I decided to start my postpartum journey back to working out a little early. I am starting with pelvic floor strengthening workouts so that I can heal correctly so that I can get back to running, spinning, and lifting without any issues. There are many different programs to choose from when it comes to pelvic floor workouts. Mutu systems, One Strong Mama, Birthfit, and a few app-based programs. I have done a lot of research over the past several months and decided to start with Mutu systems. Mostly because it is set up as a 12-week program and the daily workouts are only 10-12 minutes.
Postpartum moms whatever you do please don't start doing high impact workouts until you work on your pelvic floor. It will save you so many problems in the future! If you have any questions about comparing the different programs please reach out.
