There are so many things to do to prepare for the birth of your new baby that most moms don't think about postpartum care until it's a little on the late side. New moms are so busy bonding, cuddling, feeding, and trying to sleep that their physical care gets overlooked until pain sets in. During pregnancy mama's bodies change so much and unfortunately don't just go back to normal. Mama's don't have the same strength and stability they had before pregnancy and even less with more pregnancies. Then add repetitive motions and poor posture from feeding and carrying pain sets in quickly. To help avoid or lessen this is to strengthen your glutes, traps, and lat muscles throughout your pregnancy. For specific work reach out to Dr. Jenny.
