Oregon Mandates Chiropractic First

Beginning January 1st 2016 the state of Oregon will start a new health plan that will make *chiropractic* care and other forms of holistic treatment available to all those enrolled in the Oregon Health Plan. The goal of this plan is to focus on preventing and stopping back or neck pain at the source, rather than mask the symptoms with pharmaceuticals. This plan will also make it so that pharmaceutical drugs will be the last resort in most cases, therefore lowering the potential narcotic addiction rate throughout the state.
