Before I started seeing Dr. Cory, my neck pain was so bad that I had headaches 24/7 and chronic lower back pain that made it hard to sit, stand, or lay down. I was dizzy and losing my hearing; sometimes I would faint and hit my head. I couldn’t sleep at night from the pain and I spent thousands of dollars on pillows, doctors, and physical therapy. Then I came to Dr. Cory and he MADE IT EASY TO LIVE AGAIN. I can’t find better words to explain what it feels like to have that pain go away and your body move like it is supposed to. He is very knowledgeable and experienced and is strong but gentle with his treatments. Most importantly, he doesn’t judge you! He is a true healer and I am so grateful to him for saving my life.

I first saw Dr Shapiro 7 years ago for neck and back pain, and at present for recurring pain. I find Dr Shapiro to be knowledgeable,professional, and personable. He takes time to listen to his clients, and you don't feel you are being rushed out the door. I have been to other Drs of Chiropractic Medicine, and Dr Shapiro has helped me more than anyone else. Dr Shapiro is very caring and his office staff friendly and welcoming.

I have had trigeminal neuralgia since 2004 possibly due to a hit on the head by a jet ski a few years earlier.  For those of you who have never heard of this terrible disease it is called the suicide disease for a very good reason.  The pain in your face is excruciating.   I have endured endless medications thru the years some of which helped at least for a while.  I have had 2 micro-vascular decompression surgeries.  After the first one I was pain free for 6 months and then it returned.  The second surgery was more successful but eventually I began taking some medication again.  In January of this year my daughter-in-law suggested I go see Dr. Shapiro.  I have been going 3 times a week since then and have experienced remarkable relief from the facial pain.  I am now going every two weeks and have not taken any prescription pain medications for two months now.  I can see significant overall improvement in my health.  I give Dr. Shapiro the credit for my recent improvement in health.

I just wanted to say "Thank you" for all that you have done for me!  I have been a patient at Shapiro Family Chiropractic for a few years now, I would go in for occasional adjustments. A few months ago I started having headaches regularly.  I went to see Dr. Shapiro and he did something to adjust the cerebral fluid and within minutes my headaches stopped.  I would absolutely recommend both him and his staff. 

Dr. Shapiro is great. At The first visit, he listened attentively and seemed to understand immediately my complaints.  He did not tell me it was just my Fibromyalgia and I need pain meds and sleeping meds, as I have been told so many times.  After taking x-rays and performing an exam he carefully explained his findings to me as well as his recommendations.  After the first visit, my hands which have been painful and often numb for several years stopped hurting and not been numb since.   My left leg which was getting to the point that I was having difficulty standing and walking is 90% improved.  My eye spasms due to congenital end stage glaucoma are also 90% reduced.  This is of the utmost importance since I have been told that one of these spasms will sever the remainder of my eyesight at any time.  I still have much pain and stiffness; but having only seeing Dr. Shapiro for a couple week, the improvements that I have already experienced have propelled my hopes of continued improvement to greater limits than I have felt for many years.  I have a sense of excitement for the improvement that I know will come in time.  I am looking forward with great anticipation to the day when I am not in constant pain and can enjoy life anew.

I started Seeing Dr. Shapiro on 08-11-2009, for severe hip and back problems. I have been under treatment to correct the problem, and I'm now on maintenance  I'm 87 years young so I still  see Dr. Cory for the occasional adjustment.  He has been a Blessing.

I had never been to a chiropractor and came to my first appointment very skeptical and apprehensive. I have both scoliosis and osteoporosis and was told by my surgeon that back surgery was in my future. Physical therapy did help but within 6 months the intense pain came back so I decided to try a new path to healing. Within 3 weeks of treatment with Dr. Shapiro, I was able to regain a lot of my activities. Dr. Shapiro always treated me with respect and listen to my concerns. He has a lot of information about supplements but never mentioned he sold then until I asked him for recommendations. He and his staff have an excellent rapport with their patients.
