  • Dr. Rudy Rivas D.C.

Dr. Rivas was born and raised in Houston, TX. After suffering from multiple low back issues throughout his late teens and early twenties, Dr. Rivas sought advice with multiple orthopedic and spine specialists. The one and only option from them was surgery and medication. Dr. Rivas did not accept that as an option. He sought help with his first chiropractic treatment and it completely changed his life. The chiropractor was the only doctor that physically examined Dr. Rivas; with motion palpation, orthopedics tests, and muscle tests. The chiropractor showed and explained his X-rays to Dr. Rivas. He laid out a treatment plan and stressed the importance following the protocol and at-home-exercises. From that day forward, Dr. Rivas never looked back. After four years of grueling pain and unnecessary medications, he was finally pain free. The experience he had with the chiropractor was the inspiration Dr. Rivas needed to change his lifestyle and make his career choice in the chiropractic profession.

Dr. Rivas obtained a dual degree from Texas Chiropractic College, with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Bachelors degree in Human Biology. Unlike conventional medicine, which focuses on attempting to treat disease and symptoms once they occur, Dr. Rivas emphasizes on improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain in the first place. Dr. Rivas’ main focus is to help his patients achieve and maintain optimal health. With thirteen years of chiropractic experience, Dr. Rivas leaves “no stone unturned” in order to fully understand what your problem is and will prepare a treatment plan to best improve your health. His main goal is to provide all his patients with the complete support they need to live their lives fully.

Dr. Rivas is trained and certified in Graston Technique and myofascial release. He also has extensive training in neurodiagnostic studies in the field of neurology. Dr. Rivas obtains multiple certifications in nerve conduction studies, evoked potentials, and intraoperative neuromonitoring for spinal surgeries.
