Patient Forms
Upon entering our office, our receptionist will welcome you as a member of our family. We will request that you complete our patient forms located in the New Patient Center. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition.
Consultation
Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Amanda Andersen to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for our office to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can help you meet your goals.
Examination
After your consultation, Dr. Andersen will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your spinal nerves, muscles, and vertebrae. Standard orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
Surface Electromyography Study (sEMG)
Using high tech, sophisticated equipment developed by NASA, we will be doing a non-invasive examination of your spinal musculature. There are no harmful side-effects with this examination, and it is completely safe and painless. Electromyography technology is what is used in a more commonly known EKG test, which measures the health of cardiac muscle. This test will allow us to measure objective data concerning your overall health and the health your spine.
Report of Findings
Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, Dr. Andersen will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:
- How can you help me?
- How often do I need to come in?
- What will my treatment cost?
After reviewing your health history, goals, and examining your spine and sEMG, Dr. Andersen will discuss recommendations and notify you if your condition requires care with other providers. Dr. Andersen will provide the best treatment and wellness program for your needs.
Treatment
At the conclusion of this initial appointment, you can choose to experience your first gentle Network adjustment. This non-invasive adjustment helps your body to realign its vertebrae, release tension in the spinal cord and spinal nerves, as well release tension in the muscles throughout the body.
