When evaluating a Nutra-Metabolic patient, At Beyond Chiropractic, Dr. Erika V.Way goes Beyond Medicine, beyond the paradigms of conventional medicine and evaluates a patient based on deviations from optimal health rather than within the parameters of disease.
Dr. Way looks at disease as a departure from optimal health as the result of dysfunction, rather than an eventual state of being. Using a science based approach she applies her comprehensive knowledge of Functional Medicine when treating such conditions as Hashimoto's, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, migraines, hormone imbalances (thyroid, cortisol, estrogen, testosterone, progesterone), Dr. Way starts her initial evaluation using functional testing such as a comprehensive blood panel looking at over 75 different bio-markers, food and chemical sensitivities using the ELISA/ ACT and Entero Lab testing, saliva hormone panels and comprehensive DNA analysis of stool to rule out bacterial, fungal and parasitic infection.

Rolfing is a system of soft tissue manipulation, with the objective of realigning the body and its muscles and harmonizing its fundamental movement patterns in relation to gravity.
