Dr. Evan Boris completed his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to attend the prestigious New York Chiropractic College, and received his Doctorate degree in 1990. While attending New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Boris studied advanced chiropractic and therapeutic techniques, using the most technologically sophisticated equipment available. It was at the NYCC Levittown Outpatient Facility where he applied these techniques, and gained valuable experience. As a practicing chiropractor for over 30 years, and the past owner/director of East Norwich Chiropractic Center, Dr. Boris is widely recognized for his extensive knowledge and expertise in his field.
Dr. Boris constantly strives to improve and update his knowledge in the field of chiropractic, and has completed a rigorous post-graduate course of study in the field of radiology, where he is acknowledged by his colleagues as an area expert. In addition, he has completed an internationally accredited fellowship program in the field of "needleless" acupuncture. For this achievement, he is honored as a Fellow of the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture. Dr. Boris frequently attends post-graduate seminars, so as to provide his patients with the most effective and up-to-date care possible. Dr. Boris has caught the attention of many celebrities, and has treated professional athletes (including many NHL players), models, and musicians (see Testimonials).
Dr. Boris is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the New York State Chiropractic Association, as well as the ACA Councils on Diagnostic Imaging, Nutrition, and Sports Injuries & Physical Fitness. Dr. Boris served as PTA President of Long Island's prestigious Westbury Friends School, and is an active member of The Portledge School community. Born and raised in New York, Dr. Boris lives on Long Island with his wife and two children.
