Hello My name is Dr. Andrew R. Kettering your local family chiropractor of Lancaster Pa. I was fortunate enough to be raised in a very large chiropractic family and a native to Lancaster County Pennsylvania. I personally am the 9th chiropractor in my family and a third generation chiropractor. I have always been interested in the human form and function, even at a very young age I can remember being fascinated with anything living. As I grew I began to channel these interests in the form of fine art. Art allowed me to study organic forms more intensely than I ever have before.
Having the freedom to visually investigate life in it's many forms brought me to acquire my bachelors of fine art from Temple University (Tyler School of Art). After undergraduate I became more interested in not only observing living forms but I really wanted a firm understanding of what it means to be alive and how can I personally and positively interact with or affect a living being? I knew that there was more I could offer and coming from a chiropractic family it came to me naturally. Chiropractic's treatment roots are in science, art, and philosophy all of which are of interest to me and an integral part of my life. I also strongly believe that the power that made the body heals the body, this is why I have decided to become a chiropractor and dedicate my life to nurturing this relationship. This relationship is an important one to me and seeing first hand what pain does to the way people lead their lives made the decision to become a chiropractor an easy one. Your best healer is your own body, and your aren't in pain or sick because you have too many organs or a lack of pharmaceutical drugs. So removing parts and adding drugs does not make sense in most cases to treat pain and promote healing.
Our Goal is to help you get well, relieve pain and symptoms but stay well, because life is motion and we help keep you moving!
