Leander Technology/Spinal Decompression

Spinal Decompression using Leander Technology - Powerfully Effective Treatment for Herniated Discs & Sciatica

The scientifically demonstrated success of the Leander Spinal Flexion- Distraction Decompression Unit proves its treatment power. The Leander 900 has provided relief for hundreds of our patients by gently reducing pressure within herniated discs. The result is rapid, long lasting relief from painful disc herniations and sciatica. How they work: Both decompression systems slowly and precisely open the disc spaces between the vertebrae of your back. Decompression of the vertebrae reduces pressure inside the discs. The vacuum effect draws jelly-like disc material back toward the center of the disc thereby reducing the size of the budge or herniation. Reducing the size of the disc bulge decreases the pressure on the spinal nerves and drastically reduces your back and leg pain. Custom Foot Orthotics

Activator

Just as lasers have replaced scalpels in some surgeries, advanced technology has become available to chiropractors to assist in delivering chiropractic adjustment. This patented and FDA registered devices were specifically created to deliver gentle and precise chiropractic adjustments to the joints of the spine and extremities to relieve pain and restore function. The Impulse Adjusting Instrument® is controlled by micro-computer circuitry housed within the device that produces a controlled force that chiropractors can use to treat different areas of the body. The Activator instrument has been evolving for 40 years. Dr. Greenberg is trained in instrument adjusting, in addition to Manual methods. Adjusting instruments are high-tech. Corrective Exercises

At San Diego Chiropractic, we teach our patients how to perform special "blueprint" exercises which can help strengthen and correct the irregularities in their body which may be causing pain. Many of these corrective exercises can actually be performed in the comfort of your own home to help improve the effectiveness of your chiropractic care and spinal correction plan. In addition to skeletal misalignment, you may be experiencing pain that is caused by muscles and connective tissues which are out of their proper place.
