Natural Pain Relief for Back Pain, Headaches and More
Our approach to managing
headaches, back and neck pain, and migraines is different from traditional medical care. We provide long-term relief by correcting the underlying cause for your pain. When your musculoskeletal system is out of alignment, your body is at increased risk for injury, illness and pain. Restoring alignment is essential to keeping your body healthy and strong.
A misalignment can be caused by everything from a slip and fall to natural wear and tear over time. A sports injury or personal injury can also result in a
herniated disc. When a disc in the spine is out of alignment, it may compress nearby nerves, causing chronic pain or a radiating pain sensation in the legs, buttocks and lower back, known as sciatica. While prescription painkillers can provide temporary relief, only chiropractic care can safely and naturally help restore the disc to proper alignment, relieving pressure on the nerves.
Our goal with this blog is to create a dialogue between our chiropractors and patients. We hope you will think of this blog as a space for you to learn more about natural pain management and the benefits of chiropractic care.
Did you know, for example, that even a "minor" fender bender could cause serious trauma to the spine? If you have sustained a
car accident injury such as whiplash, chiropractic adjustments are essential to providing long-term pain relief. Unfortunately, many car accident injury patients may not experience pain until weeks or months after the accident, long after serious damage has been done to the musculoskeletal system. This is just one reason why chiropractic care is so important -- prompt diagnosis of misalignments can prevent the build-up of scar tissue following an accident, and help the body heal quickly and safely.
If you have never visited a chiropractor before, it's natural to have questions about how our treatments work.
