COVID-19 Update from Gregg Anderson, D.C., your Sacramento Chiropractor

Dear Patients and Friends we haven't met:

I hope all is well, and that you are not too stressed with the coronavirus news and activity. Thankfully, I only know one person in our community that has been directly affected. I hope and pray that we all stay safe, sane and healthy during this crazy time.

With the stress many are experiencing mentally and emotionally and literally feeling in their necks and backs, we have been quite busy in the office. We want to let you know the steps we are taking at Anderson Chiropractic to keep you safe and healthy when you come in. The virus is likely to cause only mild symptoms for most who catch it, but it is crucial that we all do our part in preventing its spread. Some are affected very badly.

There are some additional new measures and precautions we have in place in our Sacramento Chiropractic clinic to minimize patient risk. Because we have patients of all ages and levels of immunity, we are choosing to be wise and take precautions to make sure you are not exposed when you visit.

CLEANING at Anderson Chiropractic:

I will be thoroughly washing my hands before each patient and have hand sanitizer for additional use in each room. We will be thoroughly cleaning the rooms including the adjustment tables, face rest, furniture and doorknobs with disinfectants to reduce risk of exposure. We will also be monitoring ourselves for fever or symptoms and will take time away from our Sacramento Chiropractic clinic if necessary. You will have your temperature taken when you visit.

VISITING Anderson Chiropractic:

If you have a fever over 100.4 degrees or have had a fever in the past 14 days, currently have a cough or feel shortness of breath, we will respectfully ask that you not visit, and consider self-quarantine and seeing your primary care provider before you see your Sacramento Chiropractor.

Know that we will be missing anyone who must stay home and will be so happy to see you again after your break!

LIFESTYLE AND SUPPLEMENTS TIPS TO BOOST IMMUNITY

Maintain healthy lifestyle habits. Sleep deprivation, stress, excess alcohol or caffeine all decrease immune function. Set yourself up for success with good self-care. Nourish your body with healthy whole foods, drink plenty of fluids and get some exercise.

Many of our patients in our Sacramento Chiropractic clinic take the Immune Booster and Balance probiotics that we keep here in the fridge, as well as the Vitamin D3. We have ordered more of these Metagenics products to have on hand for everyone. I personally take these products regularly in combination with other healthy lifestyle practices including regular adjustments.

Consider stocking up on healthful pantry items such as frozen veggies and berries, frozen meats, poultry and fish, bone broth, soup, nuts, seeds, canned beans and teas in case you need to spend an extended time at home.

Thanks in advance for your understanding and patience as we implement best practices during this time. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. We strive to always be one of the top chiropractic clinics in Sacramento, CA. Be well and take care!
