Dr. Raymond B. Gaskey - CCSP®, FAKTR®, GRASTON@, NASM- CES, PES, GFS

Dr. Raymond B. Gaskey is a current Georgia Board Certified Chiropractor,  P.E.A.K. intern mentor and extension Faculty Member at Life University in Marietta, GA. Dr. Gaskey earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C) at Life University in 1998 while graduating first in his class.  

Prior to his Chiropractic training, Dr. Gaskey attended Hofstra University and the University of Stony Brook, both located in New York, while earning his Bachelor and his Master degrees. Dr. Raymond B Gaskey has been the recipient of numerous academic achievement awards throughout his university training including perennial status on the  National Dean’s List, numerous academic scholarships and most notably, Life University Valedictorian.

In addition to practicing family chiropractic, Dr. Raymond B. Gaskey specializes in sports chiropractic and injury rehabilitation. His focus is in the treatment of sports and repetitive strain related  back, neck and extremity disorders with corrective therapies including Kinesiotaping, active release techniques, and soft tissue therapies and  sports massage  and corrective exercises to obtain maximum results in getting you back to peak performance. 

As a current member in good standing of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports physicians , Dr Ray is one of a handful of active certified Chiropractic Sports Physicians in Georgia. In addition, Dr Ray is also a  certified member of the  National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) . His certifications with NASM include :

• (GFS)  Golf fitness Specialist .

Dr Gaskey is also a member of and holds certificates from the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA). Certifications include :

Dr Raymond B Gaskey is also a current member of the (GCA) Georgia Chiropractic Association , the (ACSM) American Academy of Sports Medicine and the (NSCA) National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has additional certifications in Sports and Power Kinesiotaping. Dr. Gaskey was most recently selected as a Top Chiropractor in Marietta, Ga by the International Association of Chiropractors.

Dr. Gaskey and Bradford Family Chiropractic currently promote various charities and actively support local Marietta, Roswell , Kennesaw and Alpharetta sports and High school athletic teams. In the fall of 2001, Dr. Gaskey married his beautiful wife, Crystie, at Callaway Gardens here in Georgia. They currently reside in the East Cobb area where they are joined by their loving pugs, Gus and Priscilla.

Dr. Paul Purvis

Dr. Paul Purvis earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life University in Marietta, Georgia, in January of 1999. Prior to his Chiropractic training, Dr. Purvis attended Benedictine University in Lisle, IL, where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Biology.

His educational background includes certification in nine chiropractic techniques as well as spending several years working as a paramedic.

Dr. Paul delivers a skilled, efficient evaluation and analysis of your spine and nervous system before a gentle and precise structural adjustment. His main focus is on detecting and treating spinal mis-alignments in a diverse population. in the years Dr. Paul has been in practice he has treated a wide variety of patients, from newborns to our active senior population. Dr. Paul especially likes working with athletes of all levels, from the "weekend warrior" to the elite level athletes. He has much experience in working with golfers, swimmers, runners, and cyclists.

He resides in Hiram with his wife Kim (his inspiration) and their dogs Frankie and Lucky and cat Lilly.

Dr. Ian Calk, DC

Bradford Family Chiropractic

Dr. Ian Calk joined the Bradford Family Chiropractic team after completing a 6-month internship under the mentorship of both Dr. Gaskey and Dr. Purvis.  He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) at Life University in Marietta, GA. Prior to that, he attended college at the University of South Carolina in his home state where he completed his undergraduate degree, earning a Bachelors in Biology. 

He has a passion for treating sports related traumas as well as disc and spine injuries.  His background includes training in a technique called Non-surgical Spinal Decompression which is an alternative treatment method for herniated discs.  It was this method of care that got him exposed and interested in chiropractic care in the first place.  He has also been trained in areas of sports rehabilitation, corrective exercises and strengthening, physical therapy, and a variety of chiropractic techniques.  

Dr. Ian Calk is also a musician and spends much of his free time playing around the Atlanta area.  He currently lives in East Cobb with his wonderful wife Katelyn.
