Johanna Rico, Acupuncturist

Johanna C. Rico holds a Bachelors degree in Health Science, and a Masters of Oriental Medicine, since 2016, from Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Ms. Rico has also been working as an Allopathic and Integrative Medicine phlebotomist since 2000. She is NCCAOM certified with extensive knowledge of the body, mind, and spirit connection. She supports patients in a holistic, transformative, and gentle transition from dysfunctional behaviors and lifestyle habits to a more harmonious lifestyle. Johanna Rico works with her patients to develop, over time, higher standards of living and quality of life.

Through Oriental Medicine tools such as Acupuncture, Scalp Acupuncture, Biopuncture, Electro-Acupuncture, Auricular, Herbology, Heat therapy, Moxibustion, Cupping, Homeopathics, Frequency Specific Microcurrent, Oils, Vibrational Healing, Pranayama and Lifestyle adaptations (including diet). Johanna is able to coach clients back to an integrated harmonious flow.

Ms. Rico is a Licensed Acupuncture Physician, which distinction, in the state of Florida, is considered a Primary Care Physician, based on Traditional Chinese Medical concepts and modern Oriental healing techniques.
